Take your hats off to Central Park this Thursday and win tickets to Oxegen 09!!

With the constant aim to put a smile on its customers' face, Central Park Nightclub hosts its latest theme event - "The Mad Hatters Party" on Thursday night in association with Bulmer's. The night is based on a competition that will give all the creative souls of Galway the chance to win a pair of tickets to Oxegen 09 by creating their own 'Mad Hat'. Bonus points will be given on the night for creativity and hard work, but all hats are allowed to enter, whether bought in a store or made from paperclips!
The clubs production company Grooveyard will be providing all the characters necessary to re-enact the infamous Mad Hatters Tea Party so expect to meet Alice, The White Rabit, The Queen of Hearts, and of course the Mad Hatter himself. There will be free entry for all those who make their own hats and lots of prizes being given away, with a Bulmers sampling for early arrivals! Doors open at 11pm.

Lace up your lady trainers for a good cause

Some of Galway's most recognisable charities are looking for eager and active local women to take part in the Flora Women's Mini Marathon on June 1. Croí, GOAL West of Ireland, and the Galway Rape Crisis Centre are just a few of the charities who have all put forth requests this week to get the women of Galway behind them to raise money for their worthy causes.

How far would you and your partner go for €30,000 in prizes?

That's the question that North West station iRadio is asking this week....

Wednesday is the last day for couples from Galway and beyond to register to win €30,000 in prizes in iRadio's controversially mysterious competition Indecent Proposal.

Designed to be a true battle of wills, the contest will place two couples in two city centre shop windows for one week, taking part in a number of 'indecent proposals'....all for the viewing pleasure of the voyeuristic public. The first person to reject an indecent proposal forfeits their chance at €30,000, as well as their partners. No pressure on your relationship or anything....
